DISCOVER THE GAME CHANGING FACIAL OIL THAT WILL ROCK YOUR DRY SKIN

Game Changer: A newly introduced element or factor that changes an existing situation or activity in a significant way. (Source: Merriam-Webster.com.)
Some years ago, I couldn’t open a magazine, or www dot my way onto a website without seeing a review of high praise for skin care products by Indie Lee.
Unfortunately for me, this was a time in my life when I had made the connection between beauty brands and beauty media scratching each others backsides for press and general shits and giggles. Fool me once, shame on me, fool me twice…shame, shame, know your name.
Fast forward to my discovery of beautylish.com, a customer focused beauty e-tailer where the client is queen, and their honest reviews so golden, they created a run on Kevyn Aucoin’s Celestial Powder, thus compelling the beauty brand to up their production and supply of this other-worldly highlighter.
I was immediately smitten, and thought I could rely on the reviews to help me in my search for the perfect moisturizer. Being seemingly one of the few women who gets no kick from Creme de la Mer, in any formula, I had self-shamed my way into believing comfortable moisture wasn't in the cards for my combination skin. If I didn't find the perfect moisturizer, I was certain that one day I would wake up to find my face looking like balls.
So to say I had been on a mission was an understatement.
ENTER INDIE LEE
This time when I met with the mention of Indie Lee products, I paid attention. I zeroed in on Indie’s Squalane Facial Oil. The reviews quickly caught my attention. Descriptions such as “Holy Grail!,” “Amazing!,” and “Magic!,” perked my interest so much, I almost expected to see “LAWD JESUS!” next!
Before “adding to cart,” I did a little investigation. Indie Lee produces products that I like to refer to as “clean.” If you are ingredient conscious and aware that parabens are being found in breast tumors you will be impressed. Indie is a brain tumor survivor. She created her products to be eco friendly, and safe for our bodies. Because, you know, our skin is an organ too, and it it is absorbing everything you place upon it, and who knows where this stuff is going to end up?
WATCH HER STORY
Squalane is naturally present in our skin. It keeps it supple and flexible, and protects it from ultraviolet rays. It’s a moisture party for your face while also improving tone and texture.
So if you have oily or combination skin, don't shy away. Embrace it! I know you have always been told to avoid products with oil. But we also once thought that the world was flat and that Johnny Depp was cool.
Another benefit is that Squalane can aide in the absorption of other products, helping them to move deeper into the skin for maximum effectiveness.
SO WHAT IS Squalane. AND WHY SHOULD I CARE?
Squalane. can be derived from different sources. The cheapest, most popular route is through Sharks. Yes, Jaws. Specifically, his liver. This version is actually called, Squalene. It’s much oilier. Probably because it was once ALIVE. And I’d bet dollars to donuts you and I have both purchased a product in the past that contained it.
Indie Lee sources her product from olives. This composition is lightweight, and sinks into the skin leaving no oily residue. This is called Squalane.
I placed my order and waited with anticipation. And I prayed for the sharks. Because, damn.
I should honestly mark the arrival of Indie Lee Squalane Facial Oil as an “event” on my FaceBook page. It is a game changer for me. Lawd Jesus!
Let me tell you what it has done for me. My face no longer feels tight. It’s totally comfortable and feels like the soft, cherubic ass of a newborn. It has lightened what I thought was a freckle, but apparently was sun damage instead. And I’ve had less oiliness to contend with in my T-Zone. Habitual retinol use had left me in a constant cycle of dry-flaked hell. Not any more. The Squalane Facial Oil was just what I needed to stop that mess before it began. While I would also love to say it cleans my toilets and puts the dishes in the dish washer, I can’t have it all. That was a year ago. I’m on my fourth bottle!
I like to mist a bit of Bio Elements Calmitude Hydrating Solution onto my face just before application to prep my skin and ready it for the Squalane Oil. I pat the oil onto my face and neck. But, if you are in a rush, you can also add it to your cream or lotion moisturizer.
Some loyal users have found they only needed the facial oil and stopped using a moisturizing cream altogether. I did this in the summer with excellent results. I also use it on the tops of my hands as it’s the only thing I have found to erase that ugly crepe-like skin that is happening there.
What the hell?
If you don’t have it yet, and don’t understand the importance of prevention, Google Madonna’s hands. You’re welcome.
And if you are a makeup artist, you will want it in your kit. It works beautifully on that client with skin of leather, that has never exfoliated, unless she counts that one time she forgot her chaps and fell off the back of her boyfriends motorcycle on the way to Sturgis. It is an instant skin softener, and something that long term, will pay you back ten fold.
